“We cannot control everything that happens to us, but we can control how we respond to the things we can’t control.”
-Avis J. Williams
Life is a series of events that fall within the range of human emotional experiences such as happiness, sadness, anger, etc. Be it the scriptures from the bible or famous quotes by authors, everybody emphasizes the significance of improving your life by attuning your mind to your heart’s frequency. Sometimes the mind battles itself, racing at an unmatchable pace. It tries to make sense out of every situation.
On the other hand, the heart calls for slowing it down a bit; it wants the mind to rest and dwell in stillness and peace. A happy life is not guaranteed. Life is what we make out of the unfortunate and fortunate events that we go through. Life is what happens when we are busy worrying about the future or relishing the past. Life is the process of falling on our knees and getting back up on our feet. Life is a continuous course of learning from our mistakes. Life is about growing up and growing out of our biggest fears. Your resilience is what defines your conduct in life. You might think that the concept of survival is all too ideal and not as easy as the books make it seem. But believe me, I have been through hell, and I grew out of it stronger than before. I can tell you that success lies in resilience.
Success is not served to you. It is earned, and you need to walk the extra mile for it. You must have seen highly intellectual people with all the information in their life, but they go nowhere without a plan. Information without a plan is like a plane without wings. Where does it take you? Nowhere! The power is in action taken from that information. If information itself could change people, then everyone would be wealthy, skinny, and smart!
Success is what you desire and receive in life.
It means making the most out of every situation. It’s not about sitting idle but about striving for excellence. It begins the moment you decide what you want to achieve and how you plan on achieving it. To be successful, you need to work harder with every passing day.
Success Comes After Every Challenge
What is life if it does not have a few difficulties that remind us of our existence? But sometimes, survival becomes a challenge when the dark clouds never seem to leave our sight.
However, life is all about bouncing back. We must not succumb to adversities. Instead, we should take hold of ourselves and swim our way through the currents! We all have received meaningful advice to ‘stay positive.’ This is very true.
Staying positive should be a code of conduct for every person. But it’s challenging to be happy in all situations. So what does it mean? Have we become negative? If we are not happy, are we delusional? No!
Our definition of positivity is usually restricted to just happiness when, in truth, positivity is a combination of several elements that ensure a happy, healthy life.
Positivity is about bringing balance into our life. It is about being stable mentally, physically, and emotionally. It is being hopeful and confident. It is about staying calm in adverse situations and being satisfied with life.
